Thank you to the Florida Trail Association for hosting my first book signing!

Thank you again to the Central Florida chapter of the Florida Trail Association for inviting me to present my book at their chapter meeting last night, and especially to the friends who came (including my Central Florida Gator Club pals). This was my first book signing, and it was a blast. I was also lucky to do the first meeting of the year, as the room was packed with new members.

For those who don’t already know, the Florida Trail Association is an organization of outdoor enthusiasts who share a love of hiking, backpacking, kayaking, cycling, and finding new ways to enjoy the outdoors. Although their official mission is to maintain local sections of the Florida National Scenic Trail, their chapters also host fun outdoor events, including guided hikes, paddles on local waterways, bicycling trips, and camp outs. Annual membership to the statewide organization is just $40, including membership to local chapters. More information about local events can be found at the website for the Central Florida chapter linked here.
